THE BOOK OF REVELATION. Rev. Jeffrey Wooden. The Book of Revelation • Sermon They are all engraved upon the breastplate of His heart and held ever so dear by Him. 3. With hair like white wool, as white as snow. The head and hair of Jesus Christ were as white as white wool and snow (). This is the picture of Christ as the Ancient of Days.

The Book Of Revelation Introduction “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place.” (Re ) So begins the book of Revelation, one of the most challenging books in the Bible. It is the first book that many new to the Bible want to study, while it is often neglected by mature. The book of Revelation has traditionally been seen as a frightening book about future wars, terrible earthquakes, dreadful plagues and the beast. Few realise that it is about the revelation of Jesus. So take a fresh look at the book in the light of God's grace, and see how the pages speak of Christ and His finished work on the cross.

The book of Revelation is the only book in the Bible, that I know of, that has a blessing associated with it for those who will read it—not once but twice! The first blessing is in the first chapter of Revelation in verse 3: “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it. In this case John identifies his audience: "John to the seven churches that are in Asia." A little later in this chapter the names of the seven churches are spelled out. An Introduction to the Book of Revelation Revelation Rev. Mark A. Barber It might seem at first strange to begin a sermon series on the Book of Revelation from a passage at the end of the book rather than the beginning.

However, there is a good reason for this. The book of Revelation. 44 rows  Revelation To Him Who Loves Us and Released Us: 08/06/ Dr. Phil Newton:. Back To The Future. Sermon #1. Series Introduction: In this study, we are going to embark on an exciting adventure. We are going to study the book of The Revelation Of Jesus Christ.

This is a wonderful book. It has been misunderstood, misrepresented and misinterpreted by many. The book of Revelation has been avoided because many seem to believe that it cannot be understood and that. Revelation was written to be read aloud and listened to with our full imaginations in gear.

I plan to read through Revelation after our dinner-on-the-ground on September 3 rd (D.V.). Plan to be part of hearing the whole book read in one sitting as would have been the case with the first hearers. Pastor Randall Worley preached through the entire book Revelation this past year. Upon completing the sermon series, he preached a final sermon that summarized the content and message of the whole.

The whole body of work culminates in an economy of words in the conclusion. Such is the case with Revelation's concluding words. God has declared, promised, warned, instructed, commanded, and revealed. Now He brings His book to its grand culmination in the promise of the New Heaven and New Earth.

These last words offer something for each of us. In this revelatory Bible study message, Joseph Prince takes an in-depth look at the seven churches in the book of Revelation and the personalized messages given to each church by the Lord.

Revelation Aug The last few paragraphs of Revelation serve as an epilogue to the New Testament’s most unusual and imaginative book. As an epilogue, it necessarily contains elements from the book’s introduction as well as capturing themes found throughout its pages.

If you were a Christian in Syria today, or Iraq you would not blink at the most horrible descriptions of these days. “The Book Of Revelation” is a series of expository preaching/notes that gives the listener an account of what happens in The Book Of Revelations with commentary on each scripture within the text.

Originally published as four separate volumes, in answer to critics who allege that Daniel is not inspired Word of God but simply an inspiring work, Criswell was asked by Pat Zondervan to publish a work based upon his expository sermons on the book of Reviews: 7.Let's Study The Revelation.
